Who pays for the table
Every deal on this site is free, with no account to open and no trial that runs out. This page says where the money for the server and for new games comes from, and what we have ruled out.
Adverts in labelled spaces
The bills are paid by advertising. Reading pages – the home page, the lists of numbered deals, the rules and the guides – carry one space each, labelled “Advertisement”. Those spaces are the only places where an advert can appear. We are connecting them to Google AdSense; until that is switched on, every space shows a short note of our own that invites advertisers and sponsors.
Pages with a card table, the daily deal, the contact page and the legal pages have no advert spaces at all.
Sponsoring a game
A company can also back the site directly by sponsoring one game or a run of numbered deals. A sponsored block always carries the words “Sponsored by …” and the sponsor's name, so it can never be mistaken for our own text. A sponsor has no say over rules, deals or the solver.
What we will not do
- No adverts on the table itself, between the cards or on top of the game buttons.
- No paid shortcuts: nothing in a game can be bought, unlocked or sped up with money.
- No selling of visitor data, to advertisers or to anyone else.
- Nothing that pops up over a hand you are still playing.
