How difficulty is measured
For every deal we record two numbers: how many of 200 quick simulated games with sensible random moves were won, and how long the solver had to search before it found a win. Deals with many quick wins and a short search are easy; deals that the quick games rarely win and the solver finds late are hard. Within each game, the easiest third is marked Easy, the middle third Medium and the hardest third Hard.
